Those Darn Scales!
The constant agonizing over "scale weight" has become a societal epidemic of sorts. Remember, the scales can only produce a certain number which
reflects how much gravitational force a particular mass can exact upon a machine/device. In other words, it does not tell you (or does it know, for that matter) what
composition is reflected as your lean mass, fat and lymph %, current state of fitness or health, etc. The mirror is an example of far better indicator than the
scale (as long as you can truthfully analyze what you see!).
If all you are concerned with is that particular "goal" number provided by a machine, then you could be in the final stages of life, for example, with an insidious
disease that literally cannibalized your body and yet showed a lower reflective "scale weight" and be perfectly proud and content! As I always tell my "hands-on" and
remote location clients, "How you look, feel, and perform are far better indicators of one's success than the scale number".
Train wisely, rest adequately, and nourish the body properly.
